ROBERT MICHIELS
A friend of Pol Bury since the 1960's and a jazz musician, Robert Michiels (1933-2025) is one of the representatives of Nouveau Réalisme in Belgium. His sculptures, unique artworks created from welded and reclaimed materials salvaged from factories of the La Louvière region, pay a humorous distinctly Belgian tribute to Wallonia's great industrial era.
