After het studies in Fashion Design and Technology at the University of the Arts in London, Belgian artist Barbara Kandiyoti, born in Brussels in 1980, devotes herself to the organic and free form in her creations. She found ceramics to be the perfect medium for expressing all the freedom of a material almost left to its own. In her artworks, the evolution of form, the cracks and accidents, the mixtures of glazes are an ode to the spontaneity of clay.
